Arsenal reportedly make enquiry for player Robert Pires compared to Dennis Bergkamp

Arsenal have reportedly made an enquiry to sign Aston Villa captain Jack Grealish after a stunning campaign in the ཧPremier Leaguꦉe – and Robert Pires has recently compared the English ace to an Invincibles legend.

Grealish, 24, has been in magnificent form that has been the driving force behind Villa avoiding relegation on ൲the final day of the Premier League. His 10th goal of the season saw Villa earn a crucial point against West Ham.

In just 41 games this season, Grealish had a hand in 18 goals 🍸from midfield in a side that stru♊ggled at the back and lacked punch in the final third. He would have earned his first England cap, before the health crisis struck.

Arsenal are the latest club to have been linked, making an enquiry for the midfielder – only to be told that Villa want £80million. It might be worღth it, though, after Pires compared him to Dennis Bergkamp.

“Jack is a great footballer with a good technique – and I love watch🐼ing him play because he reminds me of Dennis Bergkamp,” . “I like hi꧋m in the same position as Dennis, as a No.10.

“I don’t want to put too much pressure on Jack, because he is st🤡ill a young player learning the game, and Dennis was an incredible talent and a champion.”

TBR’s view – Why Grealish is perfect for Arsenal

For any Arsenal fa🀅n, they would love to see Grealish in an Arsenal shirt. Goals, assists, his ability to dribble and draw fouls from the opposition and his pure cla🥀ss is certainly similar to the aura of Bergkamp.

Not only that, but he is the ideal signing for Arsenal, too. Mikel Arteta’s blue print is young players, keen to show their worth at Ar﷽senal – rather than big-name players who are just at the Emirates for a pay cheque.

Grealish in, Ozil out, would be e🎐xcellent for the Gunners on the pitch – and on the wage bill.
