Report: Arsenal could buy ‘dynamic’ £67m-clause striker for just £40m this summer
Arsenal are likely to bring in a new centre-forward or two in the summer transfer window.
The Gunners currently have just two senior strikers in their ranks and at Mikel Arteta’s disposal.
Furthermore, both Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah are out contract at the end of the season.
While either of those could potentially pen a new deal, there’s certainly scope to bring in reinforcements.
One player that has reportedly been on Arsenal’s radar long-term is Sevilla’s Youssef En-Nesyri.

And according to , the 24-year-old is still “very close to the top of the wanted list” for Arteta.
The outlet also claims that En-Nesyri would carry a £40million price tag.
The Morocco international has a €80million (£67million) release clause in his current contract.
“Perfectly suited for the challenges of English football”
En-Nesyri has sadly struggled this season amid injuries and loss of form.
He has made 17 appearances, registering three goals and three assists.
However, En-Nesyri was sensational last term, with 24 goals in all competitions for Sevilla.
Admittedly, he’d be a bit of a gamble, given his current form and his lack of Premier League experience.
That said, wrote an in-depth article last year claiming En-Nesyri would suit the English top flight.
“With his towering physique and neat hold-up play, he seemed perfectly suited for the challenges of English football,” they wrote.
“He may not offer the same level of link-up play as his Dutch competitor (teammate Luuk de Jong).
“But he is quicker across the ground, more dynamic and powerful in his running, and arguably a better finisher with his feet.
“He is also, at 6 ft 2 in and possessing a powerful leap, a not-insignificant threat in the air.”
