‘Arsenal really like him’… David Ornstein says Mikel Arteta is massive fan of £30m English player
Arsenal aren’t likely to be busy on transfer deadline day, but that doesn’t mean that the Gunners’ transfer team don’t have work to do.
Indeed, the north London club will have plans in place for the summer transfer window, and, by the sounds of it, a new midfielder could be on the agenda.
The likes of Martin Zubimendi and Douglas Luiz have both been strongly linked, while according to David Ornstein, speaking on , Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall is another player Arsenal really like with Mikel Arteta said to personally be a fan.

Ornstein shared what he knows about the man.
“It was a really surprising one when I broke it, we know how fundamental he is for Leicester’s title charge. Profitability and Sustainability is why Leicester were open to somebody leaving to balance the books, and it’s not a surprise to me that clubs were looking at Dewsbury-Hall, not only Brighton, Brentford were in the mix, Arsenal really like him, Mikel Arteta is a fan, the same with Marco Silva from Fulham,” Ornstein said.
One to watch
This is one to keep an eye on heading into the summer.
Dewsbury-Hall is a very talented player, and if Arteta is a fan, don’t be shocked if Arsenal do go after him.
He’d surely be cheaper and more attainable than the likes of Zubimendi and Luiz, and after shining with Leicester in both the Premier League and the Championship, Dewsbury-Hall could be ready for a step up to a top club like Arsenal.
