Arsenal predicted lineup vs Brentford: White and Sambi make debuts

Arsenal have been handed a tough start to kick off the new Premier League season with Mikel Arteta taking his side to Brentford – and here is our predicted lineup for the Gunners.

Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga start: Arsenal predicted lineup may look familiar

Arsenal would love a repeat of their opening result last season when they face the Bees.

On that occasion, the Gunners brushed aside a newly-promoted, London-based side 3-0. Thomas Frank’s men however, are certainly going to surprise some along the way this season.

Arsenal have new signings to introduce into the fold. Ben White and Albert Sambi Lokonga should start for the Gunners.

White was lauded for his performance in the weekend’s North London Derby. And the early signs hint Sambi is going to be a fantastic player.

The lineup is actually incredibly similar to the side that faced Spurs last week. In fact, the only change may come at right-back with Calum Chambers replacing Hector Bellerin.

Who else could feature for the Gunners?

Obviously, Bellerin may keep his spot. Meanwhile, Rob Holding will be hoping to be fit in time for the game.

Further forward, Arteta’s faith in Mohamed Elneny means that he is always in contention to be involved.

Bukayo Saka came off the bench against Tottenham. So it would be fantastic for the Gunners if Arteta deemed that he was ready to be involved against Brentford.

But as things stand, this is our predicted lineup as Arsenal prepare to face the Bees…

How will Arteta’s men fare against Brentford?

Arsenal will be looking to start their campaign with a strong victory. However, they will be aware that the newly-promoted sides always have a surprise up their sleeve.

Brentford have been one of the Championship’s most impressive sides for a number of years.

And they will be desperate to cause an upset in their first Premier League game.

They will certainly fancy their chances given how Arsenal’s campaign played out last year.
