Arsenal player once deemed capable of ‘destroying’ opponents, now it looks like Arteta’s getting rid – TBR View
It looks as though Sead Kolasinac’s time at Arsenal will be coming to an end this January.
The 28-year-old is very much surplus to requirements at the Emirates Stadium, with just two appearances under his belt this season.
And according to Turkish outlet , Kolasinac will be leaving Arsenal and joining Fenerbahce when the transfer window reopens.

Kolasinac joined Arsenal in the summer of 2017 on a free transfer from Schalke, and has clocked up 115 appearances in red and white.
However, he made just nine appearances for the Gunners last season, and ended up returning to his former club on loan.
Kolasinac couldn’t prevent Schalke from suffering relegation from the Bundesliga, which snuffed out any hopes of a permanent deal.
The report by Turkish outlet seems pretty sure that Fenerbahce will sign Kolasinac in January – and will do so without paying a fee.
The Arsenal man isn’t out of contract until the end of the season, but the report seems to suggest that the club will let him go for free.
Given Kolasinac’s contract expires in the summer, it’s extremely unlikely that any club would be willing to pay even a small amount when they can just snap him up for free at the end of the season.

At least if there’s a contract termination by mutual consent in January, Arsenal save £100,000-a-week on wages between them and the end of June.
The Gunners are very much stuck between a rock and a hard place – but given Kolasinac was a free signing in the first place, it’s not like they’re taking a big loss on him.
Last year, former teammate Dennis Aogo deemed Kolasinac – who took his first-team place at Schalke – a “machine” capable of “destroying” his opponents, in conversation with .
Sadly it’s not worked out at Arsenal, but he’s got plenty of traits that would certainly work well elsewhere – will Fenerbahce reap the rewards?
