Transfers can often materialise in football thanks to friendships – Arsenal fans have already witnessed that before.

♒Gabriel Jesus famously admitted that he travelled to Oleksandr Zinchenko’s house to help Mikel Arteta and Edu convince the Ukraine international to sign for Arsenal, having previously described the defender as being like a “brother” to him.

Now, Arsenal fans will hope to see lightning strike twice, after Mika Biereth🍬 admitted he is close friends with a player the Gunners apparently want to sign…

Mika Biereth admits he is best friends with Jamal Musiala

Well – according to – Arsenal would like to sign Jamal Musiala from Bayern Munich.

The Germany international – who BILD claim is valued at🦄 £96m – has developed into one of the best footballers on the planet since leaving Chelsea in 2019, where he spent time with Biereth.

🍎Speaking to Tipsbladet in Denmark, Biereth : “Jamal Musiala is my best friend. We grew up together and went to school together. I played with him at Chelsea. He is truly like a brother to me, and we are in contact every single day. In fact, I spoke with him ten minutes before this interview. I congratulated him on playing as No.10 for Germany in the Euros.

⭕“Our relationship isn’t so much about football. Of course, we talk about football and support each other, but most of the time we talk about all sorts of other things. As I said, we rarely talk about football, and I actually think it helps keep us sharp.

🐼“Often, you get deeply sucked into all this football stuff, and it’s nice to have someone you can talk about anything else with.”

Arsenal striker could play alongside his pal

Biereth – who has been likened to🦩 Manchester United No.11 Rasmus Hojlund – is currently impressing on loan from Arsenal at Sturm Graz with goals in 11 appearances.

𒉰That could lead to Arteta giving the Dane a chance, and if that happens, he could well end up playing ahead of Musiala next season.

𝐆It will take a lot for Arsenal to sign the Bayern Munich No.42 this summer, although there have been several reports which suggest the Gunners boast significant funds to spend.

The Gunners are apparently ready to triggerꦯ the £85m release clause of Viktor Gyokeres, while an about Heorhiy Sudakov – another player with an £85m release clause.

⛄Arsenal presumably wouldn’t be sniffing around players of such high value without a huge budget, so perhaps a move for Musiala could well materialise.
