Luciano Spalletti has called Mateo Retegui a ‘complete player’

Last ♑year, Spalletti desc🎃ribed Retegui as a “lethal” striker who has what it takes to become a “top player”.

He said in🍸 October, as per : “He’s a very serious lad.

“Inside the box, he is lethal. And now he has learned how to connect with the team better. H♐e’s going to become a top player.”

And a month lat🔯er, Spalletti praised the Arsenal-linked ꦛplayer even more.

“He has become a complete play🐻er inඣ the penalty area,” Spalletti said, as per .

Howeve💎r, when asked where Retegui could improve, he said: “He has to improve when he moves around the pitch.”

It has been reported by that Retegui’s value stands 🦄at €♓45million, or £40million.

What Retegui could bring to Arsenal

Retegui has hit the ground running﷽ since joining Atalanta from Genoa last summer and is currently the leading goalscorer in Serie A.

Retegui has🌄 also been fairly prolific for Italy, with six goals ꧂and one assist from 18 caps for the Azzurri.

He is a clinical striker who times hisꩲ movement well, knows how to get away from his markets and is an incredibly accurate finisher who’s 🐬not afraid to strike first-time.

Arsenal could certainly do with a clinical striker whose sole job is to put the ball into the 𒀰back of the net and Retegui tic🐷ks a lot of those boxes.
