Onana and Rice would form an unbelievable midfield

One of the biggest reasons why Arsenal need a new midfielder in January is because of Thomas Partey‘s injury issues.

The Ghana international, when he is fit, is up there with the best midfielders in the Premier League. Partey and Declan Rice in the middle of the park make Arsenal incredibly strong.

However, the 30-year-old has barely been available this season, and Arsenal just can’t rely on him to be fit for the remainder of the campaign once he returns.

Onana would be the perfect replacement for Partey, and the Belgian alongside Rice in the middle of Arsenal’s park would make their midfield a truly incredible one.
