Arsenal now want to sign £60m player who has been compared to Thierry Henry

Arsenal have been linked with plenty of players in this summer’s transfer window.

The Gunners have announced the signing of Kepa Arrizabalaga from Chelsea, while the Martin Zubimendi and Christian Norgaard deals are all but done as well.

Arsenal fans’ focus now is on attacking reinforcements, and although a new striker is the priority, a wide player is very important too.

The North Londoners have now been linked with a new name.

Arsenal want to sign Maghnes Akliouche

Arsenal are pushing hard for a new left-winger, but they could also do with someone on the opposite side as well.

Bukayo Saka is the main man on the right flank, and he will start most games.

However, Arsenal need a backup in that position to reduce the burden on Saka as well as push him to become even better.

have now claimed that Maghnes Akliouche has emerged as a target for Arsenal this summer, and the 23-year-old played a large chunk of last season on the right wing.

The Frenchman scored seven goals and provided 12 assists for Monaco last season, and he could be on the move to a bigger club this summer.

The report claims that Akliouche is high on Arsenal’s wish list, and he is represented by Hasan Cetinkaya, who is also the agent of fellow Gunners target Viktor Gyokeres.

Monaco have slapped a £60 million price tag on Akliouche, who has been compared to Thierry Henry and Kylian Mbappe ().

Arsenal have also identified a cheaper alternative

Akliouche is a fantastic player, but £60 million is a lot of money for a 23-year-old who hasn’t even played 80 top-flight games in France.

Arsenal still like him, but they also have a cheaper alternative on their wish list – Ademola Lookman.

The former Everton and Fulham attacker became one of the best players in the Serie A after moving to Atalanta. He has been brilliant for them.

The report claims that Lookman will be available to Arsenal for £43 million.
