Arsenal now monitoring Palace star Wilfried Zaha – journalist
Dean Jones that Arsenal are monitoring Wilfried Zaha as they look to sign one more forward before the transfer window closes.
The Gunners are flying high at the start of the Premier League season. They boast a flawless record from their opening three games. But it appears that they are not done in the market just yet.

Reports this week claimed that Pedro Neto is their top target in the final third. Meanwhile, Arsenal also have their eye on Yeremy Pino. However, they have other names on their radar.
And according to Jones, one name who finds himself on the list is Zaha. Of course, he is no stranger to the Arsenal links. And it seems that he could yet be offered the chance to finally make the move before the deadline passes.

“They’re not the only two names they’re looking at. In the background, there’s Wilfried Zaha for example,” he told .
“That deal is not moving forward at the moment. But Zaha is definitely one of those who ticks those boxes and Arsenal have had an eye on. So we’ll have to wait and see whether they decide to go down that path.”

Zaha may have wondered if his chance to make a big move had passed him by. In previous years, his asking price has probably cost him the chance to move on.
He is now 29. And with that, some Arsenal fans may not be overly excited about the prospect of a move taking place this summer.
But he has started the campaign in amazing form. He has three goals in the opening three games. Patrick Vieira labelled him a ‘‘ after his display against Aston Villa at the weekend.
Mikel Arteta meanwhile, has described him as ‘phenomenal’.
He will probably not cost as much as he would have done in previous years. And clearly, it is an exciting time to join the Gunners.
So it will be very interesting to see what will happen if Arsenal fail to land Neto or Pino in the final days of the window.
