Arsenal now interested in signing £20m Leicester player, they think he’d be an absolute bargain
Arsenal are set for a busy summer transfer window.
Indeed, Arsenal are set to sign a new striker this summer, while a new winger is also on the agenda.
Nico Williams has been linked to Arsenal, while the Gunners are keen on Rodrygo too.
Meanwhile, according to Dean Jones, writing on the , Arsenal are also keen on Bilal El Khannouss from Leicester City.
The journalist says that a number of Premier League clubs are looking at the Leicester City star, and Arsenal believe a good-value deal is there to be done here.

Arsenal interested in Bilal El Khannouss
Jones shared what he knows about Arsenal and their interest in El Khannouss.
The journalist says that Arsenal view El Khannouss as a potential bargain signing at just £20m.
“Leicester City weren’t much fun to watch last season — except for Bilal El Khannouss,” Jones wrote.
“Premier League clubs are starting to sniff around. Arsenal are interested because they believe there’s a good-value deal to be done. Wolves are another. And there’s interest from across Europe too.
“Word is, he could be signed for around £20m. Definitely one to keep an eye on.”
Bilal El Khannouss’ stats this season
Arsenal think El Khannouss could be a smart addition, and they may be right.
Indeed, Arsenal need a new attacking midfielder. Martin Odegaard was injured earlier this year, and the Gunners’ lack of depth in that role was exposed.
Fabio Vieira is set to leave Arsenal, so that extra bit of depth is certainly needed.
El Khannouss’ stats this season show why he’d be a decent fit for Arsenal.
Bilal El Khannouss’ stats this season | |
Tackles per game | 1.6 |
Long balls per game | 1.8 |
Shots per game | 1.1 |
Key passes per game | 1.3 |
Goals | 2 |
Assists | 3 |
This is a player who works incredibly hard, has plenty of creativity and is a great age too.
Of course, El Khannouss probably isn’t going to be the man to win Arsenal the Premier League, but £20m for a 22-year-old with this sort of talent is a smart investment as the north London club look to bulk out their squad.
As Jones says, this is an interesting situation to keep an eye on.
