Arsenal must challenge Spurs for £49k-a-week ace who could be ‘Arteta’s Gabriel Jesus’ – TBR View
Both Arsenal and Spurs were linked with Youssef En-Nesyri in the past few months.
According to , the Gunners have indentified the Sevilla ace as a potential Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang replacement.
Meanwhile, claimed in July that Tottenham were eyeing the 24-year-old in the summer transfer window.
Arsenal and Spurs could well look to bolster their attacking ranks further next year.
Aubameyang, Alexandre Lacazette and Eddie Nketiah all appear to have uncertain futures at the Emirates.
Meanwhile, Spurs failed to bring in a centre-forward to deputise for – and compete with – Harry Kane up front.
Arsenal should definitely challenge Spurs for En-Nesyri’s services next season as he’s a quality player.

The Morocco international has impressed at Sevilla since joining from fellow Spanish outfit Leganes in January 2020.
En-Nesyri’s first full season saw him register 24 goals in 52 games in all competitions.
He has hit the ground running this term too, netting twice and claiming one assist in three La Liga games.
En-Nesyri has also won caps for Morocco, scoring 11 goals, including one at the World Cup and three at the Africa Cup of Nations.
The 6ft 2in powerhouse, whose contract runs until 2025, reportedly has a 60m euro (£52million) release clause.
In terms of En-Nesyri’s style of play, gave a detailed insight at the start of the year, when he was linked with West Ham.
“With his towering physique and neat hold-up play, he seemed perfectly suited for the challenges of English football,” they wrote.
“He may not offer the same level of link-up play as his Dutch competitor (teammate Luuk de Jong).
“But he is quicker across the ground, more dynamic and powerful in his running, and arguably a better finisher with his feet.
“He is also, at 6 ft 2 in and possessing a powerful leap, a not-insignificant threat in the air.”

I wouldn’t be averse to this at all. Not as clinical as I want, but he’s more of a Lacazette replacement than Aubameyang. He links up play very well and he’s tall enough to be more of an aerial threat
