Arsenal and Manchester City scouts among those in attendance at Tottenham v Eintracht as three players catch the eye
TBR Football can exclusively confirm that scouts from Arsenal, Liverpool, Manchester City and West Ham United were in attendance at Eintracht Frankfurt’s Europa League clash with Tottenham Hotspur in midweek.
The Gunners, the Reds, the Citizens and the Hammers are all likely to be busy in the summer transfer window as they look to build on the seasons they’ve had.
Both Arsenal and Liverpool will be eager to strengthen their squads to compete on multiple fronts, while Manchester City and West Ham have endured difficult seasons and will want to do much better next time out.
Three Eintracht Frankfurt players in particular caught the various’ scouts eyes as they held Spurs to a 1-1 draw at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in their quarter-final first leg.

Nathaniel Brown, Hugo Larsson and Hugo Ekitike catch Premier League scouts’ eyes
TBR Football chief correspondent Graeme Bailey has revealed that Eintracht full-back Nathaniel Brown was being checked out by West Ham and City, while Arsenal have checked on him at some point.
Tottenham are also interested in Brown and were taking notes on the versatile 21-year-old, who played further up the pitch in Eintracht’s meeting with Ange Postecoglou’s side.
Hugo Ekitike and Hugo Larsson were also being watched by the Premier League contingent, with both players having emerged as targets for clubs after superb seasons for the Bundesliga club.
Ekitike scored against Tottenham, taking his tally to 20 for the season, while Larsson was a stabilising force in Eintracht’s midfield and also helped launch plenty of counter-attacks.
TBR Football sources can also confirm that Ekitike has received especially glowing reports, with Bailey saying all the scouts “love him now”.

Brown is a 21-year-old left-back who can also play further up the pitch – as he did against Spurs – and in midfield, making him a versatile option for clubs.
‘He can be adequately deployed as either an inverting left-back or central midfielder,’ has written.
‘Even switching between the two roles throughout a match in the style of an Oleksandr Zinchenko or João Cancelo.’
Meanwhile, Larsson’s style of play has been compared to that of Manchester City star Rodri, considered to be the best holding midfielder in the world.
As for Ekitike, he has finally got his career back on track after a difficult spell at Paris Saint-Germain.
Ekitike has been likened to Thierry Henry and has been deemed ‘one of Europe’s most highly-rated young players’.
