Video: Arsenal let player leave for free this year, he scored ‘outrageous’ goal last night
Arsenal offloaded quite a 📖few players in the January trღansfer window.
Arguably one of t💜he most surprising Gunners departures involved Calum Chambers, who joined Aston Villa.
According to ♛, Arsenal allowed the 26-year-old to join Villa for free.

Chambers’ contract was up in the summer, so the Gunners reportedly🔯 cut the deal short out of goodwill.
This meant the defender could start playing first-team football right away inst🙈ead of being on standby at Arsenal.
And Chambers is certainly shining for Villa, with five claret-anღd-blue appearances so far, including four starts.
On𝕴 Thursday, the former Arsenal ace got his first goal for his new club, and in some style.
Villa were already cruising 2-0 at Lee🔯ds when♑ Tyrone Mings set Chambers up in the box.
He let rip with a ferocious efforജt which soared into Illan Meslier’s top-corner to seal a 3-0 victory at Elland Road.
“It’s an outrageous finish from Chambers,” Sky Sports pundit Clinton Morrison . “M🀅eslier could only watch.”
Here is the video of the goal:
Chambers remained a largely unused member of Mikel Arteta’s 👍squad this season, but he🔯 stepped up when needed.
While it was sad to see him leave Arsenal, it was good♛ that the Gunners amicably parted company with him and enabled him to se𒈔cure first-team football right away.
At the same time, Arseꦰnal did save some money on his salary which can then be reinvested in summer.
And Vi👍lla got 🐼themselves a top defender who is also capable of scoring worldies.
