Arsenal have ready-made Lacazette replacement in Eddie Nketiah

Nketiah can be Arsenal’s🃏 homegrown Lacazette replacement.

The young striker was fantastic against Leeds yesterdཧay in t🐈he Carabao Cup.

As the 22-year-old lined up against his former loan side, he had a loওt to prﷺove.

Marcelo Bielsa famously failed to util꧙ise the talents of the young striker.

H𓂃owever, he came back to bite the Argᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ⁤⁤⁤⁤ᩚ𒀱ᩚᩚᩚentine manager as he scored the second and decisive goal at The Emirates.

This was just further 🐻proof of the pool of talent that the Gunners are working with in their academy.

It should also serve as pr♓oof that Nketiah can be part of the senior side more regularly going forwardﷺ.

Fortunately for the youngster, a spot may open up forꦿ him 🧔soon.

Alexandre Lacazette, who came off the bench for the final 18 minutes last𓃲 night, could soon be off.

His contract at the Emirates expires in summer 2022🃏.

That would open up a sp🎃ot in the side for another striker.

In Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, ♚Arteta has a striker who h𒁏e can rely on.

When Aubameyang is injured or being rested, though, N🌞ketiah is more than good enou🧜gh to step up to the plate.

The youngಌ forward h♐as 15 goals in 67 games for the Arsenal first team ().

That includes two goals in two Carabao Cup games this season as he continues to♔ show wha🐓t he can do.

Also, crucially, 𒉰Nketiah doesn’t take up a foreign player slot💛 in the Premier League squad.

He ticks pl🌜enty of boxes, as opposed to Lacazetteཧ who cost the Gunners a cool £46.5m back in 2017 ().

Nketia certainly doesn’t lack work rate, either.

His goal ⛎against Leeds was an example😼 of his industry on the pitch.

The young forward latched onto a pooꦆr headed back pass,𒁃 knocked the ball over Illan Meslier and slotted home.

It was a perfect example of what he brinဣgs and there’s no reason why he can’t be used as Lacazette’s long-term replacement.
