Arsenal have ‘negotiated’ to sign five strikers as deadline day decision made
Arsenal are running out of time in this transfer window.
Fans of the Emirates Stadium club woke up on Monday with a lot of optimism after their side battered Manchester City in the Premier League.
ꦰThe hope was to see Mikel Arteta sign a new striker on deadline day, but the chances of that happening are almost zero now.
But, Arsenal꧂ did hold talks with five talented strikers over a move before the transfer deadline.

✅Arsenal’s need for a new striker has been evident for a long time now.
🤡The Gunners should’ve brought in a prolific goalscorer when Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang left the club in January 2022. But, for one reason or another, that has been ignored.
That came back to haunt them after Bukayo Saka was sidelined with a serious hamstring injury and Gabriel Jesus ruptured his ACL.
ജArsenal have worked on signing a new striker in this window, and Spanish journalist Eduardo Burgos has revealed that negotiations took place with five strikers.
Those players are Benjamin Sesko, Igor Jesus, Ollie Watkins, Mathys Tel and also ꦅMatheus Cunha, who signed a new contract with Wolves with a £62.5 million release clause.
ꦅBut, Arsenal are set to accept defeat in their pursuit of all of them because ‘they don’t want to overpay’ in this window.
Burgos tweeted: “Arsenal🦄 are giving up on their idea of getting a striker this market. They don’t want to overpay.
♎“They negotiated or launched formal proposals for Cunha, Igor Jesus, Sesko, Ollie Watkins and Mathys Tel, but none came to fruition. In summer they will return to the fray.”

🅺Arsenal should do what they can in the remainder of the season with the players they have got, but there will be no excuses if they don’t sign a new striker in the summer.
The two big names on Arsenal’s list are Alexander Isak and Benjamin Sesko.
♓A number of clubs will be interested in signing both players, but Arsenal simply have to land one of them after missing out on both in two consecutive windows.
