Arsenal have made contact with Real Madrid to sign their ‘magical’ £85m player
Arsenal have the pull to attract the best players in the world now, and Edu Gaspar has just enquired about signing a Real Madrid star.
Mikel Arteta has well and truly transformed Arsenal, hasn’t he?
The Gunners are currently on top of the Premier League table and have qualified for the last eight of the Champions League for the first time in 14 years as well.
Arsenal are on the right track, and they are now in a position where they can make serious attempts to sign players from huge clubs.
A Real Madrid star is now said to be on Arteta’s wish list.

Arsenal make contact with Real Madrid to sign their player
Arsenal are expected to be very active in the upcoming summer transfer window.
The Gunners’ priority will be a new striker. They need someone who can guarantee 20 or 25 goals every season, and such a player will not be easy to find.
Mikel Arteta will also be on the market for a new midfielder, as the futures of Thomas Partey, Jorginho and Mohamed Elneny are all uncertain.
The one other position Arsenal need to strengthen is out wide, and Spanish newspaper (21 March 2024, page 17) claim that Real Madrid star Rodrygo Goes is on the Gunners’ radar.
It has been revealed that both Arsenal and Liverpool have contacted the Galacticos to enquire about the Brazil international attacker’s situation.
Real Madrid reportedly view him as non-transferable and the two English clubs know that it’s nearly impossible to get him as well.
However, if he does become available, the report claims Real Madrid will demand at least €100 million (£85m) to let Rodrygo go this summer.

Rodrygo Goes vs Bukayo Saka this season
Rodrygo is naturally a right-winger, but since Karim Benzema‘s departure from Real Madrid last summer, Carlo Ancelotti has mostly deployed him as a centre-forward.
The Brazilian, , has done a great job up front, scoring 13 goals and providing eight assists in all competitions.
If Arsenal do sign Rodrygo, he will likely be viewed as a right-winger. He will compete with Bukayo Saka there, and unfortunately for the Real Madrid man, his numbers are no match for the Gunners number seven.
Saka, despite making four fewer appearances for Arsenal this season, has scored 16 goals and provided 15 assists in all competitions. He is the highest-rated player in the Premier League so far this campaign.
