Arsenal have agreed fee to sell ‘incredible’ player to Premier League rival
Arsenal are expected to be busy in the latter stages of the summer transfer window as they look to apply the finishing touches to their squad.
The Gunners have made two new senior signings, with Riccardo Calafiori and Mikel Merino both arriving at the Emirates Stadium this summer.
Arsenal have also been proactive in terms of moving fringe players on, with Emile Smith Rowe, Nuno Tavares and Albert Sambi Lokonga all leaving.
In addition, Eddie Nketiah is reportedly closing in on a move to Crystal Palace, with a medical having been scheduled for Wednesday.
Now, it looks as though Arsenal have made another breakthrough with regards to moving a player on.

Arsenal agree fee with Southampton for Aaron Ramsdale
The player in question is Arsenal goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, who is now second choice behind David Raya.
According to Sky Sports News journalist Lyall Thomas, Southampton have agreed a fee with Arsenal for Ramsdale.
It is understood the fixed fee is £18million, potentially rising to £25million if performance related add-ons are met.
Negotiations are continuing to agree the other aspects of the deal, which will see the “incredible” stopper leave permanently.

Ramsdale set to kickstart his career after difficult year at Arsenal
Ramsdale joined Arsenal to a mixed reaction back in 2021, but the £30million man quickly silenced his critics as he dethroned Bernd Leno as the Gunners’ first-choice in goal.
Now, the England international looks set to suffer the same fate that befell his predecessor, and a move away looks to be on the cards.
That’s just the way it is at Arsenal, with other top players being offloaded for a variety of reasons, and not all bad either.
In some cases, it’s just the case of the project advancing so fast that the quality rises in all departments, or Arteta liking the player but preferring a different option.
Nevertheless, Ramsdale has been a great player for Arsenal, a key component in their rise back to the upper echelons of the Premier League table.
It’s time for him to get back to playing regularly, and Southampton are a good club for him to become a regular once again.
