Arsenal fans will be livid as PL rival triggers the release clause of 2020 Gunners target – TBR View

Arsenal may be one of several Premier League sides looking on as Patrick Vieira and Crystal Palace appear to be on the verge of completing one of the real coups of the summer transfer window with Michael Olise.

, Palace are closing in on signing Reading starlet Olise. And remarkably, they are s𒁏et to pay just £8 million.

That fee triggers the release clause in the 19-year-old’s contract, meaning that the♍ teenager looks set to be the second sensation to swap the Championship for Selhurst Park in as many years, following the inspired purchase of Ebere Eze.

Olise seems to have been linked with most Premier League sides since bursting onto the scene. And understandably,♚ some supporters of various clubs are not happy that he is seemingly Palace-bound.

Arsenal are one of those teams who have reportedly had Olise on their radar at one stage.

And a look on social media would suggest that fans are 🎀not happy to see th🤪e Gunners not make their move.

Olise score꧒d seven and provided 12 assists in the Championship last year. He also played almost everywhere in attack𒆙ing areas.

Arsenal meanwhile, are looking for someone to replace Martin Odegaard. And of course, there remains speculation over Emile Smith Rowe’s future.

Smith Rowe will, hopefully, stay at the Emirates. H☂owever, they still need more options in those positions. And Olise looks to be an ideal target.

Arsenal missed a trick not making Olise move

Olise is a player who has the audacity anꦆd footballing-arrogance to try some seriously impressive passes and moments of skill. But he also possesses the quality to back it up.

His doubters may argue that he is unproven in the Premier League. But Sm🅠ith Rowe has demonstrated how successfully a player can make that step up from the second tier.

Palace look to have landed thems🎀elves a fantastic addition to their already-impressive forward line.

And with Arsenal working towards qui💦te the overhaul of their squad this summer, their su♒pporters would surely be forgiven for wondering why the Gunners seemingly did not follow up on their past interest.
