Arsenal fans react to what Mesut Ozil tweeted after 5-0 loss at Manchester City

Arsenal fell to an embarrassing 5-0 defeat at the hands of Manchester City on Saturday.

The Gunners, who had already lost their opening two Premier League games, were completely outplayed at the Etihad.

Ilkay Gundogan opened the scoring for the hosts after just seven minutes and Ferran Torres doubled their lead on 12 minutes.

Granit Xhaka received his marching orders in the 35th minute after a two-footed tackle on Joao Cancelo.

And Gabriel Jesus added a third just before half time to end the match as a contest.

From then on it was a case of damage control for Arsenal but they failed at that too.

Rodri netted City’s fourth in the 53rd minute and Torres got his second of the match with six minutes left.

Arsenal are now only the second team in Premier League history to lose their first three matches in a season and have a goal difference of -9.

Some Arsenal supporters felt he was mocking Arteta and the club – here’s what they said in response:
