Arsenal fans react to reports linking club with Raul Jimenez
Arsenal are set to enter the race to sign Wolves striker Raul Jimenez during the summer and plenty of Gunners supporters have been reacting on Twitter to the news.
claim that Arsenal along with their North London rivals will both be keen to land the prolific Mexican goalscorer.
The 28-year-old signed for Wolves on loan last season, scoring 17 goals and registering eight assists.
He turned that move permanent in the summer and during 2019/20 he has scored 22 goals and claimed 10 assists in all competitions.
Jimenez signed for Wolves for and it seems likely that the club will want a significant profit on their star man.
As a result, Arsenal may only be able to afford the international striker if they were to offload one of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang or Alexandre Lacazette.
It seems as though he would be a popular choice among the Arsenal fans, however, with many getting pretty excited on Twitter.
Wolves have their own Champions League ambitions this season and could sneak into a top-four place, or win the Europa League and get in through the back door.
