Arsenal fans react to reported target Houssem Aouar’s display against Juventus
Houssem Aouar starred for Lyon on Wednesday night as the French side produced a stunning performance to beat Italian champions Juventus – and Arsenal fans were impressed by his display, after reports emerged he is a target.
Aouar, 21, has come through Lyon’s academy to shine in the senior side. Despite his tender age, the 14-time France Under-21 international has already clocked up 130 appearances in all competitions for Lyon.
He is in the form of his life this season, having a hand in 16 goals during his 34 league and cup appearances. Scoring nine times, Aouar has also laid on seven assists and one of those came in the 1-0 win over Juventus.
A lovely run from Aouar across the byline saw him pull the ball back with his left foot to Tousart, who managed to find the back of the net past Wojciech Szczesny. The scoreline remained 1-0 throughout.
