Arsenal fans react to reported news that Mikel Arteta wants Olympiacos star

Mikel Arteta has reportedly urged his Arsenal scouts to compile some information on Olympiacos midfielder Mady Camara after he starred against The Gunners in the Europa League �and many Arsenal fans are delighted on Twitter.

that Arteta was impressed with 23-year-old midfielder Camara, who has continued to shine for the Greek side in his second campaign since joining the club from French side Ajaccio.

With 73 appearances under his belt, Camara is one of Olympiacos�most important players and was crucial in knocking Arsenal out last week �playing every single minute of the two-legged affair, as they saw off Arteta’s men for a place in the last 16.

The report claims that Arteta has taken note and with a central midfielder high on his agenda in the summer, Camara has been added to his shortlist. It is believed Olympiacos want around £17.4million for his services, if he is to leave.

Sheffield United have made an offer for the midfielder this season, but Olympiacos rejected a move for the 12-time Guinea international. He has a contract at the Greek Super League side until the summer of 2023.

Arsenal fans reacted to the reported news that their club were considering a move to sign Camara with Arteta urging his scouts to compile more information on the African star �and the majority are hopeful he moves to the capital.
