Some Arsenal fans were reacting to the news Mohamed Elneny has been ruled out with a hamstring injury.
It was confirmed that the ‘‘ Egyptian will be out for two to three weeks due to the issue.
Elneny has made just one appearance for the Gunners in the Premier League, off the bench to Manchester City
Mikel Arteta has turned to other options in the absence of the African from the starting XI. Albert Sambi Lokonga, Granit Xhaka, and even Martin Odegaard have featured in a deeper midfield position from the start.
He started in the Carabao Cup victory away to West Bromwich Albion last month.
Elneny was reportedly a target for Besiktas and Galatasaray, but neither could agree on terms with the 29-year-old.
His problem come with Thomas Partey just returning from injury and Granit Xhaka serving a three-game ban.
Arteta may be sweating over his midfield options and could turn to a combination of Ainsley Maitland-Niles/Odegaard and Lokonga.

Elneny will be a bit-part player for Arsenal
It is clear from the start of this campaign that Elneny will be a bit-part player for Arsenal amid his injury news.
The Egyptian has endured a sensational fall from where he was last season. He starred away to Manchester United and a regular place in the starting XI seemed up for grabs.
However, it all went downhill from there and the player was pushing for a move this summer.
With an influx of youngsters like Charlie Patino and Miguel Azeez, the ace is unlikely to remain at N5 much longer.
Here is how Arsenal fans reacted…
This season keeps getting worse and worse smh I’m finished

So our only midfielders are a young Lokonga and a half injured Partey!

Bissouma was right there, that’s all I’m saying.
Lokonga also has some “discomfort” and Xhaka’s suspended.

Just hope we survive, can’t see Ø playing deep again.
We had 1 job to go out and buy a CM and we failed. God help us. I think it’s time now to stake his claim for that CM spot. Let’s goooo
