Arsenal fans react to Hakan Calhanoglu performance for AC Milan

Hakan Calhanoglu once again impressed for AC Milan on Friday night in Serie A – and some Arsenal fans on Twitter reacted to the playmaker’s display.

Calhanoglu, 26, scored a sensational free-kick for Milan in a 1-1 draw against Atalanta in the Italian top-flight fixture.

The attacking midfielder has been in inspired form recently and he’s now reached 10 goals for the season across all competitions, as well as supplying eight assists too.

He’s a versatile player that can slot into most midfield and attacking positions, but is perhaps best suited to a number 10 playmaker role behind the striker and he’s got great vision in the final third.

The Turkey international attracted admirers from Arsenal following his eye-catching set-piece and he’s previously been linked with the Gunners this season.

The reported back in January that Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta was weighing up a move to try take Calhanoglu on loan at the Emirates Stadium.

The report claimed that Madrid were prepared to offload their player, but he stayed at the San Siro and has vindicated that decision ever since.
