Arsenal fans react to Dominic Calvert-Lewin interest reports
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on reports this week claiming that the Gunners are considering a move for Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
What’s the story?
, Arsenal are considering potential replacements for Alexandre Lacazette with the Frenchman out of contract next summer.
And the report has suggested that Calvert-Lewin is on the list. Meanwhile, Aston Villa star Ollie Watkins is also wanted.
The report does claim that the Everton talisman would cost more than £50 million.
He has been outstanding for a few years now. The England international has scored 29 Premier League goals across the last two full campaigns.
And he has already bagged three in three for Rafa Benitez’s side so far this term.
He is an incredibly well-rounded centre-forward, capable of causing problems for defenders both in the air and with the ball at his feet.
He would allow Arsenal to vary their style of play. So it is little surprise that plenty of Gunners fans would love to see Calvert-Lewin at the Emirates.
Several have insisted that he needs to be Mikel Arteta’s top target when Lacazette moves on from the Emirates.

A couple have pointed out that the idea of Calvert-Lewin getting on the end of crosses from Kieran Tierney could prove to be absolutely lethal in the years to come.
He seems to be getting better and better. And he is probably yet to reach his peak.
