A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to react to reports claiming that Pablo Mari is considering his future amid interest from Flamengo.
Mari has become a forgotten man at the Emirates. It is easy to forget that he started the opening two Premier League games of the season.

However, he has not been seen in Mikel Arteta’s side since. And he has not even been on the bench since the September win over Burnley.
Unsurprisingly, it appears that he now has questions about his future. he is ready to consider his situation should he remain on the fringes of the Gunners squad.
Flamengo are keen on taking the Spaniard back on loan. But it is noted that his wages – worth £85,000-a-week, – may prove to be a stumbling block.
It remains to be seen how Arsenal would feel about loaning the 28-year-old out. They perhaps do not boast the kind of depth that would eliminate any risk.

But it does appear that most of the Arsenal fans on Twitter believe that letting Mari leave makes sense.
They cannot see him getting another chance. Gabriel and Benjamin White have formed a superb partnership. Meanwhile, the likes of Rob Holding and Calum Chambers are waiting in the wings at present.
‘Am not worried’: Arsenal fans react to Pablo Mari exit reports
There is also a feeling amongst many that moving Mari on would only be good news for William Saliba when his loan spell at Marseille ends.
With that in mind, here is what some of the fans make of the reports concerning Mari…
Not in January as will leave us light in case of a Gabriel injury but let him go in summer when saliba comes back
— Jack Fenton (@Jaackfenton)
Let him go and bring back Saliba
— Steve (@MrTeddyEars)
Am not worried and I think you shouldn’t be either
— Master & King👑 (@49__undefeated)
He’s a good defender, but too slow for the EPL. Bring back Saliba and ship him out
— Roddy10 (@RodneyMathe)
I actually don’t blame him.. It’s the person who gave him a permanent contract I actually blame. To be fair, he’s not a bad player. Yes, he had a rough time tackling Lukaku. Aside that, he’s been decent for us..
— Onelum (@cyrilemeka)
Let him go. Next season we should have Saliba playing for us, so he’ll get pushed down the pecking order even more. I didn’t see anything special from Pablo, perhaps I’m wrong 🤷♂️
— Ag3ntAdamz (@Ag3ntAdamz)
Absolutely. Shouldn’t have been in the team in the first place. Look what’s going on right now at Arsenal, he doesn’t fit what we are doing at all. Saliba back next year. Some of you wanted him over Gabs last year as well 😂 honestly, look where he ends up. No where near the prem
— Charlie Hammond (@CharlieHammondx)
Honestly, If He wants to go then let him. Saliba can take his spot at the end of the season. He did well while he was here, and best of luck to him 😁
— Oliver Weisel (@WeiselOliver)
Ship him out in January and call back Saliba to end the season with us. Perfect plan in my book😉
— Sambi Lokonga’s son (@AFCGunner08)
Can’t believe he’s even unhappy from the way he played the last game! If he was arteta he wouldn’t play him neither
