Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Matteo Guendouzi’s full debut
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Matteo Guendouzi’s performance as the midfielder made his full debut for Hertha Berlin on Saturday.
Guendouzi left the Gunners on loan last month. He had previously gone several months without a first-team appearance for Mikel Arteta’s men. And it remains to be seen if he has any future in North London when his time in Germany comes to an end.

There is a long way to go before his loan ends. But after having to wait for his full debut, it appears that he is now off to a very promising start.
Hertha went into Saturday’s clash with Augsburg having not won in the league since the opening day. But they put an end to that run in emphatic fashion with a 3-0 victory.

, Guendouzi seemed to have a very good game. He completed 46 passes. Only the two centre-backs and the left-back made more for the visitors.
Meanwhile, he also completed two dribbles, won three challenges, and made two interceptions.
And for the Arsenal fans who watched the game, it was a performance that highlighted why the Gunners must not close the door on Guendouzi entirely.
In fairness, the 21-year-old’s talent has rarely been in doubt. And most Arsenal fans probably never stopped believing that he had a massive future ahead.
But plenty hope that his loan spell can work wonders – whether it builds his value up for a future sale, or paves the way for him to return to the fold under Arteta.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Arsenal fans were saying about Guendouzi’s full debut…
I still see a big future at arsenal for guendouzi

I thought Guendouzi looked good today against Augsburg. Especially in the second half. Most of the transitional play was going through him.
In the second half he showed a lot more of his drive and confidence.

If he fixes things with the club and Arteta, can be a essential player for us.
I don’t see torriera at arsenal anymore— A. (@GunnerrGabriel)
If (and that’s a huge IF) he wants to stay, he could be a great partner for Thomas Partey next season. Just need him to learn to be disciplined defensively (no better place than Germany).

He’ll be back

Guendouzi was fantastic. Labbadia looks to have had an affect in his game so far.
Would’ve been my MOTM, but Matheus Cunha was just on another level today.
