Arsenal fans react on Twitter to Joachim Andersen interest reports
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on claiming that Mikel Arteta wants Joachim Andersen at the Emirates.
This summer looks set to be a defining one for Arteta. The Spaniard is seemingly struggling to convince all of the supporters that he is the right man to take the club forward.
He will be hoping to stamp more of his mark on the team in the coming months. And it appears that one of the players he wants signed is Andersen.
, the Gunners want the Fulham loanee, who is also on West Ham’s radar following a hugely impressive spell at Craven Cottage.
The Mirror suggests that Andersen is valued at around £20 million by Lyon. And Fulham’s hopes of signing him permanently will likely be dashed should they fail to stay up.
Andersen became the Ligue 1 side’s record signing when he arrived in 2019 (via ).
And he has been a superb signing for Scott Parker’s side, who would have surely been relegated by now had he not strengthened the defence with the likes of Andersen and Tosin Adarabioyo.
It seems that plenty of Arsenal fans would like to see Andersen brought in. The Dane looks to be a superb defender with an outstanding passing ability.
Admittedly, some have doubts as to whether he is enough of an upgrade on what Arsenal already have. But it is clear that many would love to see him at the Emirates…
