A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on which has provided an update on David Luiz’s fitness.
Luiz has been sidelined for just over a month now. The knee injury came after an impressive run of form from the Brazilian.

In his absence, Mikel Arteta’s men have continued their inconsistent form.
They have won two, drawn two and lost two of their last six in all competitions. And they have conceded six goals in the four games they have contested since losing Luiz.

Arsenal are now gearing up for another massive game in their season. And it appears that they have received a big boost ahead of the game.
that Luiz is back in training and is in contention to feature in Thursday’s first-leg with Villarreal in the semi-final of the Europa League.
It does appear that many of the Arsenal supporters on social media are delighted with the news.
While has come in for plenty of criticism during his time at the Emirates, some clearly feel that he has been one of their better centre-backs in recent months.
He is a leader and he is a player who often shows up on the big occasion. So it is probably not a huge surprise that several fans want Luiz to start if he is fit enough to be involved.
Here is how some of the fans have reacted to the reports…
Mari is untouchable at the moment though. Hopefully if we manage to get a goal or two at Villareal, Luiz will come one to help stabilize.
