Arsenal fans react as Ranieri reportedly looks to sign Gunners defender in January
Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to discuss reports that Claudio Ranieri wants to lure Sead Kolasinac to Watford in January. The defender is out of contract at Arsenal in June, and Ranieri is looking to take advantage.
Kolasinac, 28, has managed just one single minute of Premier League football since August. An ankle injury has prevented him from playing since the middle of November, but he had only played twice in the league beforehand.
Of course, it comes after Kolasinac returned to Arsenal in the summer after a loan spell at Schalke – the club he joined Arsenal from. Now out of contract in the summer, Kolasinac is way down the pecking order at The Emirates.
Indeed, the signing and form of Nuno Tavares makes Kolasinac third choice at left-back. Ben White, Gabriel, Pablo Mari and Rob Holding are all ahead at centre-back. So, Kolasinac needs to go – and Watford are interested.

that Watford are keen to strengthen their defensive options, as Ranieri looks to guide his side away from the relegation zone. A cut-price fee could be agreed in the January window.
Watford eye Kolasinac: What do Arsenal fans think?
Arsenal are stuck in a tricky position regarding Kolasinac. His versatility might tempt Mikel Arteta to keep him as cover and he is certainly a decent option when fit. But he is on big wages, said to be around £100,000 a week ().
Ultimately, Arsenal have two options. Keep him as cover until the summer and let him go for nothing, or for the good of his career, let him go for a small fee in January. Arsenal fans think the latter makes more sense.
