Arsenal fans react as Mark McGuinness joins Ipswich on loan
Mark McGuinness is set to sample his first taste of professional football after joining Ipswich Town on loan from Arsenal for the 2020/21 campaign.
The deal was concluded last night and sees McGuinness head back to Portman Road after starring there for the Arsenal under-23s earlier this season.
On that night he captained the Arsenal team as they defeated the League One outfit 2-1 in the EFL Trophy.
Now he will head to Portman Road and cut his teeth in men’s football, with the Gunners coaching staff fancying the 19-year-old to be a hit.

The supporters will also watch on with intrigue as the uncompromising player hopefully plays plenty of games during his time in the Football League.
McGuinness has one cap for the Republic of Ireland national team and the loan spell should do him the world of good.
The centre-back is tall, strong in the tackle and reads the game extremely well for a young lad.
Following news of his transfer to Ipswich on loan, plenty of Arsenal fans have been reacting to the news on Twitter.
Here is a selection of the best Tweets from the Arsenal faithful as McGuinness joins the Tractor Boys on loan until the end of the season.
