Arsenal fans react as Jerome Boateng is reportedly wanted by Mikel Arteta
Arsenal are in desperate need of reinforcements during the transfer window with Mikel Arteta looking for an upturn in fortunes.
The Gunners were held to a 1-1 draw by Sheffield United at the Emirates Stadium on Saturday.
Arteta has overseen just one league win since his arrival and he knows he faces a fight to put European football on the table next season.
Arsenal have a horrible knack of conceding silly goals and the defence remains an area of concern.
the Gunners are pushing to sign Jerome Boateng on loan from Bayern Munich.
The man with 76 caps for Germany has fallen down the pecking order this season and a move could be on the cards.
David Luiz hasn’t scaled the heights since his summer move and Callum Chambers is out injured for the remainder of the campaign.
Some experience at the back is clearly in the mind of Arteta and he will hope to complete a deal.
Arsenal fans don’t seem overly convinced that Boateng will help them, however.

The 31-year-old is thought to be available for just £12.8 million , although Arsenal prefer a loan.
