Arsenal fans react as Gunners reportedly willing to meet Thomas Partey’s release clause

Arsenal are reportedly willing to match Atletico Madrid midfielder Thomas Partey’s £42million release clause in the summer and are already said to be in talks over a m▨ove – to the delight of Gunners supporters on Twittಞer.

Partey, 26, has established himself as one of the best defensive midfielders in European football at this moment of time – as he continues to shine for Diegoe Simeone’s side. He has missed just t𓃲wo of Atleti’s 35 league and c🐭up outings this season.

The 20-time Ghana international came through the ranks at Atletico after joining the club in the𝓰 summer of 2012. Playing for the club’s youth teams and reserve sides, Partey has now clocked up 172 outings in all competitions under Simeone.

He is expected to draw closer to the 200-mark between🐭 now and the end of the season, but he may find himself at a n𝔍ew club before the start of the 2020-21 campaign. That is because Arsenal have made an offer to sign Partey,

Indeed, it is believed Arsenal are in ta🔯lks with the midfielder’s representatives in order to convince him with a move to north London. However, Atleti are also locked in contract negotiations, as they look to remove his bargain release clause.
