Arsenal fans react as club reportedly looking to rival Liverpool for Malick Thiaw
Arsenal are reportedly looking to rival Liverpool and Manchester City in the race to sign Schalke wonderkid Malick Thiaw after he made his senior debut this month – and Gunners fans have responded on Twitter to the reported news.
Thiaw, 18, was handed his Schalke debut on March 7 after shining for the club’s Under-19 side this season. Indeed, the colossal centre-back has clocked up 23 appearances for the Under-19 team – scoring an incredible nine goals from defence.
It saw former Huddersfield manager Wagner opt to hand the defender a substitute appearance during a 1-1 draw with Hoffenheim. His incredible progress has attracted suitors from the Premier League.
