Arsenal fans react as club reportedly after Bayer Leverkusen attacker Moussa Diaby
Arsenal are reportedly interested in signing Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby and have made an enquiry to land the young Frenchman – and Gunners fans have reacted on Twitter to the reported news.
Diaby, 20, starred for Leverkusen on Monday night as the Bundesliga returned to action this weekend, laying on two assists as Kai Havertz stole the headlines with two excellent headers. Diaby, though, was superb throughout.
Since joining Leverkusen from Paris Saint-Germain last summer for a fee of £13.5million, France Under-21 international Diaby has had a hand in 13 goals during 27 Leverkusen appearances – scoring five and creating eight.
that Arsenal have made an enquiry with a view to signing Diaby, who clocked up 34 senior appearances under Thomas Tuchel before moving to Leverkusen.
However, Arsenal are not alone in their pursuit of Diaby. Indeed, the Gunners face competition from Borussia Dortmund who could be looking to bring in a young winger to replace the in-form Jadon Sancho – who is being linked with the Premier League.
Arsenal supporters reacted on Twitter to the reported news that the club want to sign Leverkusen’s Diaby, and many feel as though he would be a good signing for the north London side – after starring for Peter Bosz’s side on Monday night.
