Arsenal fans react as Brighton eye Guendouzi

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to express their disbelief after a report over the weekend claimed that Brighton are one of the teams to have made an approach for Matteo Guendouzi.

Guendouzi’s future looks set to lie away from the Emirates. The 22-year-old – – spent a year out on loan with Hertha Berlin.

In truth, it is incredibly difficult to imagine Guendouzi ending up in Graham Potter’s squad this summer – even if he was not seemingly Marseille-bound.

It certainly seems highly unlikely that he would patch up his differences with Neal Maupay after the pair were involved in such a heated clash.
