Arsenal fans react as Bayer Levekusen reportedly looking to sign Sead Kolasinac
The race to sign Arsenal defender Sead Kolasinac is reportedly hotting up as German Bundesliga duo Bayer Leverkusen and Schalke and Italian giants AS Roma are all interested – and Gunners fans are keen to wave goodbye to the left-footer.
Kolasinac, 27, has been a regular part of the Arsenal side since he joined the club from Schalke in the summer of 2017. He has clocked up an impressive 105 appearances in all competitions, scoring five goals and creating 15 more.
However, the signing of Kieran Tierney and the form of Ainsley Maitland-Niles on the left side of Mikel Arteta’s defence has seen Bosnian powerhouse Kolasinac fall down the pecking order. Bukayo Saka is also an option in that position.

have stated that Bayer Leverkusen are desperate to bring Kolasinac back to the Bundesliga, while Schalke want to re-sign a player that played 123 times at senior level for David Wagner’s team.
Roma are keen to sign him, but it is clear Kolasinac wants to return to Germany. A fee of £9million is expected, while Leverkusen are confident they can reduce his £157k-a-week wages.
Kolasinac owns a house just 40 kilometres from Leverkusen’s home ground in Dusseldorf, and Arsenal fans have responded to the reports that they could be waving goodbye to the left-footed powerhouse. Many are open to his sale.
