Arsenal may well be encouraged by the latest transfer rumour coming from Leeds, concerning a potential Raphinha replacement.
Reports in Portugal suggest that Leeds have made a second bid for Porto winger Otavio amid the uncertainty over Raphinha’s future.
claim that after seeing a £25.8 million offer turned down, Leeds have now upped it to £34.3 million to try and get their man.
Offering that kind of money for a player who plays out wide, when they currently do not need one unless there is a departure suggests one thing.

That is that Leeds are already planning for life without Raphinha and are trying to get their ducks in a row before his exit is confirmed.
It seems that Arsenal are currently the club most likely to sign Raphinha, making offers of their own, which have so far been turned down.
But Fabrizio Romano says that the Gunners are going to ramp up their efforts next week to sign Raphinha, and they might have more chance of succeeding if Leeds have their replacement lined up.
Barcelona is the club that Raphinha would ideally like to join, we all know that but they do not have the money to sign him.
