Arsenal fans laud Max Aarons after opening day display
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to implore Edu to make a move for reported target Max Aarons after his opening day display for Norwich on Saturday.
The Canaries were beaten 3-0 by Liverpool. The scoreline suggests a relatively straightforward win for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

However, Daniel Farke’s men caused problems of their own. And the game was actually fairly even apart for what went on in both boxes.
One of those to impress for the home side at Carrow Road was Aarons. He did well against Sadio Mane, particularly during the first-half.

The 21-year-old completed three dribbles – only one player managed more – while he also made three clearances and three interceptions ().
He looked composed on the ball. And he seemed to be rarely beaten by Liverpool’s outstanding attack.
And that prompted plenty of Arsenal fans to insist that he is exactly the kind of player they should be targeting in this window.
‘Like the look of Max Aarons’: Arsenal fans impressed by right-back
It was recently reported that the full-back is highly thought of by those at the Emirates (). And it is clear that many think that he would be an upgrade on what they already have in North London.
With that in mind, here is what some of the Arsenal supporters were saying about Aarons on Saturday…
Like the look of Max Aarons. A little raw, but he’s young with good potential.
