Arsenal fans have the same four brutal complaints about Martin Odegaard after 1-0 defeat vs West Ham
After witnessing Liverpool drop two points against Aston Villa, Arsenal would have been expected to capitalise against West Ham United, especially at the Emirates Stadium.
But Mikel Arteta was dealt a ꦅshock after Jarrod Bowen’s 44th-minute goal end💃ed up being the difference between West Ham and Arsenal on the day.
Even before Mylꦍes Lewis-Skelly’s deserved red card against West Ha𓂃m, the Gunners were not pulling up any trees and did not look threatening g𓆏oing forward whatsoever.
Several of Arsenal’s players flattered to deceiv♈e as questions must be asked about their displays.
One of them is Martin Odegaard, who had yet another disappointing ga🗹me against Hammers in what has been an underwhelming season for him.
Arsenal fans booed൲ Odegaard𓆉 against Manchester United i𒐪n the FA Cup and they remain furious at him for how poor he was once again, his underwhelming campaign as well as a lack of leadership and creativity from the silky technician.

Arsenal fans blast Martin Odegaard after losing to West Ham
One Arsenal fan slate🎃d Odegaard by urging him to take responsibility as their skipper rather than looking visibly irate against West Ham, saying: “Someone at the club needs to tell Odegaard to stop waving his arms at the crowd to cheer more. The reason the atmosphere is flat is quite literally because of you and the rubbish football we play. Be a real captai💜n and take responsibility on the pitch please.”
A second Gu🎀nne꧅rs supporter questioned Odegaard’s leadership as well, saying: “I hate to say it but Odegaard has been terrible this season. You need your captain to step up in difficult moments but he’s been hiding.”
A third fan claimed Arsenal should sell Odegaard: “Al-Nassr will be a good move for Odegaard this༺ summer🍬, hopefully they make him an offer he can’t refuse, I’m tired of this guy.”
A fourth fan claimed that Odegaard, who Ruben Amorim lauded ꦏis actually holding the North Londoners back: “I’m not making up things when I say Oꦬdegaard is simply not good enough to be an entrenched member of Arsenal. He is not good enough. Requires specific opposition conditions and Arteta giving him a free role to the detriment of other players for him to play good.”
While a fifth fan claimed that the former Real Madrid playmaker’s creativity or lack thereof cannot be mentioned in the same breath as former Arsenal attacking midfielder Mesut Ozil: “Odegaard and Ozil comparisons are disgraceful and unfair. Comparing Ozil’s passing and vision to that is b♈lasphemy.”
Finally, a sixth Arsenal fan recommended Odegaard to hand the captain’s armband to Gabriel Magalhaes: “Odegaard one too many times this season. Hand over that cap🐲tain’s armband to Gabriel next season please.”
Arsene Wenger’s Ethan Nwaneri observation could prompt Mikel Arteta to drop Martin Odegaard
Recently, Arsene Wenger praised Ethan Nwaneri and described him as a creator.
“Nwaneri is more a creator through his final ball, his dribbling and the quality of his pa🎐ssing.”
Wenger compared the 17-year-old’s mentality to that of a y❀oung Cesc Fabregas as well: “Yeah, of course, Fabregas was very strong mentally but this boy looks as well and when I look at him, his maturity, it’s difficult for me to think he’s 17 years🧸 old.”
“Of course but the sign o💟f a special talent is they are ready early.”
As Arsene Wenger claimed, Nwaneri is a match-winner and a natural 🌳creative force and perhaps Mikel Arteta might be starting to realise that as well and perhaps be forced to deploy him as his side’s number 10 over Odegaard.

PREMIER LEAGUE STARTS | GOALS | ASSISTS |
17 | 2 | 3 |
While the Arsenal maestro did pick up a significant injury, the fact that he still has just two goals and three assist♔s in 17 league starts is a massive concern.
Especially considering that Odegaard is expected to step up in Buk♏ayo Saka’s injury-enforced absence as a senio𓆉r attacker in the side, the 26-year-old’s muted displays might indicate that he might not ready to be his side’s X-factor in the final third.
