Arsenal fans discuss Matteo Guendouzi on Twitter after latest goal on loan
A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to discuss Matteo Guendouzi after the midfielder scored another smart goal out on loan at the weekend.
It will be fascinating to see if Guendouzi has a long-term future at the Emirates. He was missing from Mikel Arteta’s plans for several months before leaving for Hertha Berlin in the summer.

But there is no question that he is impressing during his time in Germany. And he doubled his goals tally on Saturday as he scored against Schalke.
Just like his first goal for the club, it was a smart finish from the 21-year-old. And it set Hertha on their way to a 3-0 victory over the Bundesliga’s bottom side.
Admittedly, the reaction to Guendouzi’s goal has been mixed. There are plenty of supporters who have little interest in seeing him play for Arsenal again.

The Gunners currently appear to have a good thing going. Arteta is building an impressive team spirit by putting his faith in their younger players.
And some clearly fear that bringing Guendouzi back into the fold in the summer would be a gamble.
Nevertheless, plenty are pleased to see him doing well – for various reasons. Some are hopeful that his form will see his value rise ahead of a potential permanent exit in the summer.
Meanwhile, others believe that he could be in line for another chance in North London. Of course, that will not only be decided by his form during his time away. But they do think that he is doing all he can to prove himself while he is out on loan.
Here is what some of the Arsenal fans were saying about Guendouzi following his goal…
A year on loan could do wonders for Matteo Guendouzi. Second goal for Hertha Berlin this season. Starts every game, and should become more disciplined. Hopefully he returns a more mature individual, and Arteta sees a future for him at Arsenal.

Watched some snippets of this season so far at Hertha Berlin. I’m so stoked he’s doing well!
Throw him back into the squad alongside Partey and we’ll have something very exciting 👀

It’ll be interesting to see what happens with guendouzi if we’ll keep him or sell him

guendouzi is balling. If we can get a good 25-30 mill for him to go towards an aouor/ grealish/ buendia that would be good

What a performance from Guendouzi ❤️

Guendouzi with another nice finish for Hertha Berlin. I really hope he still has a future with us

Fair play Guendouzi is doing well for Hertha, and hopefully he can come back and do well for us. But don’t use that as a rod to beat arteta with. I don’t think Guendouzi did well enough for us.

Guendouzi seeming to be having a good time out in Germany. Hopefully this season away for him can show us how good he really is.

I always hated the “like a new signing” stories but I genuinely think that Guendouzi could be huge for us next season if he can wipe the slate clean with Arteta.
Baller 🔥
