Arsenal fans discuss Henrikh Mkhitaryan as good Roma form continues
Roma might have been thumped by Atalanta yesterday but Henrikh Mkhitaryan continues to shine in Serie A following his Arsenal departure.
The Armenia captain registered an assist for Eden Dzeko in the 4-1 defeat to take his assist tally to eight for the campaign.
Mkhitaryan is thriving under Paulo Fonseca at Roma, weighing in with 16 goal contributions during 2020/21.
It’s a far cry from the form he showed at Arsenal but that hasn’t stopped supporters from wondering what might have been.
Mkhitaryan arrived at the Gunners from Manchester United as part of the Alexis Sanchez transfer.

He struggled to get going though and found the net just nine times in 59 outings for Arsenal.
The 31-year-old is starting to shine in Italy and despite Roma’s defeat yesterday, they sit fourth in Serie A.
His latest goal contribution has got Arsenal supporters talking about the 88-cap international.
With Arsenal languishing in 15th place in the Premier League, they could ironically do with a creative spark like Mkhitaryan.
He has excelled in the No.10 role at Roma having never really been utilised in such a position for the Gunners.
There’s a genuine suggestion that Arsenal might have missed a trick with the player who has scored 30 goals for his country.
Here is what Arsenal fans are saying about the player they sold during the summer transfer window.
Its Serie A poor league or Micki is good player and we underrated him?

lol bring him back

The fact that Mkhitaryan &Iwobi are even obviously better than Willian says it all. Insane that people defend this.

Good on him. But still never been good enough to play for Arsenal

Willian been way worse than Mkhitaryan. Mkhi at least had some good spells. Willian has had 1 game, that's it.

Sure, Ancelotti and Mourinho are great managers.
but they have competent boards who would never let go of the likes of Mkhitaryan, Wilshere, Ramsey, Iwobi, etc without replacing them.
they got better starts with better squads when they arrived.— 🏨🇸🇿 (@hotel_twenty)
Look at the clueless replies to this tweet, trying to imply Micky isn't a baller.
2018-2019 season with Arsenal, Mkhitaryan got 6 goals & 4 assists in 19 starts. GR
