Arsenal fans discuss Donny van de Beek move on Twitter

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on Donny van de Beek after Kevin Campbell told that the Gunners should look at the Manchester United star.

It is looking increasingly difficult to imagine the Dutchman sticking around at Old Trafford for much longer. The 24-year-old has only made two substitute appearances in the Premier League so far this season.

It has been a bizarre time for the midfielder. He arrived for £35 million after being a part of the Ajax side that reached the Champions League semi-final one year before his departure.

However, he has never been able to move from the periphery of Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s ranks. And it now seems that a move away could potentially be on the cards.

And former Arsenal striker Campbell has recently suggested that the Gunners need to be one of the sides in the mix.

He claimed that van de Beek has ‘super ability’. And he labelled his form at Ajax ‘unbelievable’.

It would be quite a statement if the midfielder ended up at the Emirates. But it does appear that Mikel Arteta may want to strengthen his options in the middle of the park.

‘Would happily take van de Beek at Arsenal’

Granit Xhaka is sidelined for a lengthy period. Meanwhile, Mohamed Elneny’s stock has seemingly dropped this season.

Van de Beek can play anywhere in midfield. And plenty of Arsenal fans have suggested that they would love to see a move take place if it is at all possible.

With that in mind, here is what some of the Arsenal supporters were saying about van de Beek following Campbell’s comments…
