Arsenal fans discuss Alexandre Lacazette display against Leeds

A number of Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to comment on the performance of Alexandre Lacazette after the striker helped the Gunners to an emphatic win at Leeds on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta’s men will spend Christmas in the Premier League’s top four after a 4-1 win at Elland Road. The contest was over by half-time as Arsenal took a 3-0 lead into the break against a depleted Leeds side.

And his running throughout the game stretched a Leeds squad that looked to have nothing in the tank. He also continues to thrive in the captaincy role for Arteta’s side.

Admittedly, some on social media have insisted that Arsenal need a more ruthless goalscorer. But the large majority felt that he was the perfect player to lead the line with figures such as Gabriel Martinelli and Bukayo Saka flying around him.

With that in mind, here is what some of the Arsenal fans made of Lacazette’s performance…
