Arsenal fans are all saying the same thing about Takehiro Tomiyasu after Bayern Munich defeat

Arsenal fans have now had their say on Takehiro Tomiyasu’s performance in the loss against Bayern Munich on Tuesday.

Mikel Arteta deployed an eleven that would be tough to beat in Germaဣny tonight, and that they were.

Leroy Sane was nullified for much of the night against Takehiro Tomiyasu, who dealt with the winger well after being caught under the ba⛄ll early on.

But with a focus on defensive security and not allowing the likes of Harry Kane and Jamal Musiala space, it felt like Arsenal bowed out of the Champions Lea🎃gue without attacking the game.

Perhaps Arsenal’s offensive display was best summarised by the only real chance they created, a snap shot for Gabriel Martinelli, who hit the ball straight at Manuel Neuer.

A frustrating night, particularly because Arsenal couldn’t mount any real sustained pressure in th༒e final moments.

Aside from Takehiro Tomiyasu, did Mikel Arteta choose the right team?

Takehiro Tomiyasu certainly did his job, he either halted Leroy Sane at the start of his run, or provided adequate protection for Gabriel Magalhaes beside him.

But did Mikel Arteta ge🉐t his team selection right?

Pundits and fans had all been calling for Jorginho to start, a presence that was so sorely missed in the def🐻eat against Aston Villa.

But will Arsenal regret not attacking the game from the off? It’s certainly one to ponder, and some may feel that Gabriel Jesus could have played alongside Kai Havertz.

Arsenal haven’t really explored a formation a✱kin to a 4-2-4, and perhaps tonight was the time for it.

Arsenal fans have say on Takehiro Tomiyasu display vs Bayern Munich

Throughout the match, plenty of Arsenal fans tur🎶ned to X to share their thoughts on Tomiyasu’s display, who made his first Arsenal𒅌 start since December.

One fan : “I think we’ve found our left-back for the rest of the season. Tomiyasu has to start every s🌺ingle game.”

An💫other fan : “Tomiyasu has been one of the best players on the pitch, we’ve missed him so much.”

One supporter then : “Tomiyasu did a very good ꦓman marking job on Sane despite minimal rhythm.”

And finally one Arsenal fan simply : “Tomiyasu ꧑is so underrated.”

Tomiyasu and his Arsenal teammates really will be so disappointed with how events tr🌳anspired tonight, especially given that lingering feeling that Arteta’s side d💙idn’t really manage to take the hand-break off.

That being said, there’s little time for this Arsenal side to feel sorry for🌼 themselves.

They’ll need to pick up their spiri𝐆ts for the trip to face Wolverhamtpon Wanderers on𝔉 Saturday, with the Premier League title still very much on the line
