Report: Arsenal could now make a late move for ‘phenomenal’ Pedro Neto alternative
Arsenal might not be signing Pedro Neto from Wolves this week, but they could yet make a late move to sign Wilfried Zaha instead.
Reports today have claimed that Wolves have priced Arsenal out of a move for Neto. The Gunners are thought to be super keen on signing the Portuguese starlet, however, Wolves want around £50m for the winger and there’s a belief Arsenal won’t be paying such a fee.

However, according to both Chelsea and Arsenal could make a move for Zaha before the deadline passes this week.
Zaha has been a long-term target for the Gunners and came close to signing for the club back in 2019. He has remained on their radar ever since though and with just a year left on his contract, the time could be now for Arsenal to strike.
Paul Merson has hailed the Palace star as being a ‘phenomenal‘ player who can really hurt teams with his ability. He’s made a fine start to the season with Palace, too.
Should Arsenal sign Zaha, it would complete a memorable window for the club in which they’ve added and signed some truly top players.
TBR’s View: Zaha Takes Arsenal To New Levels
The Gunners are already flying this season so if they manage to get Wilf Zaha in as well then there is a real chance they challenge for silverware.
Zaha has been a consistently good Premier League player but has perhaps remained in his comfort zone of Palace for a bit too long in the eyes of some.
The chance to go and play for a top four club should intrigue him, and for Arsenal, they’d be getting a player who could make a huge impact for them this season.
