Arsenal could still make late move for £51m attacker as PSG move stalls

A fresh injury to Gabriel Jesus has left Arsenal short up front and reports suggest they could make a late move to sign a star striker.

The Gunners have made a strong s♚tart to the Premier League season with back-to-back 2-0 wins over Wolves and Aston Villa.

But the season is young and there is still plenty of football to play – Mikel Arteta will need a deep squad if Arsenal are going to ꦏchallenge on all fronts this season.

Gabriel Jesus wa♈🎃s a standout in Arsenal’s pre-season and returned to training in great condition. Eve🍨rything pointed towards the Brazilian💦 playing a key role this season.

But a recent groin injury meant he missed out against Villa and will face a lengthy spell on the sidelines. Kai Havertz has impressed at the spe🐽arhead of Arsenal’s attack so far, but behind him, the Gunners are lacking any ot♑her options.

Arsenal could make late move for Ademola Lookman

After securing deals for Daꦐvid Raya and Riccardo Calafiori this summer, the North London side turned♕ their attention towards a new shiny centre-forward.

It has been claimed that Arsenal🍌 hold an interest ♕in Ademola Lookman this summer, but Fabrizio Romano revealed that the only club that has spo🀅ken to Lookma🍌n’s agents is PSG.

Sky Sports reporter Florian Plettenberg has now shared an update on Ademola Lookman‘s futuಞre and claimed that tal𓃲ks with PSG are stalling.

Plettenberg wrote: “Ademola Lookman, still very keen to join Paris Saint-Germain as PSG is currently his f🍨irst choice. 26 y/o versatile strike꧑r waiting for decisions. But a possible deal currently stalling as there’s no club-to-club agreement and Paris currently not willing to pay the demanded amounts. Therefore, PSG deal currently unlikely.

“Arsenal and other top clu🅠bs, still monitoring Lookman‘s situation. Wait and see.”

Arsenal must jump on Ademola Lookman deal

Lookman is valued at £51million and would take a bite out of A🌱rsenal’s budget, but he would also calm any concerns about their attacking depth.

Heading into the summer, it was expected that a new centre-forward would be a top priority ꦡfor Arsenal but Arteta has so far put his faith in Havertz a💞nd Jesus.

But Jesus’ fitness problems and Havertz’s inconsistency could come back to bite him. A deal for Lookman provides an extra option up front and would allow Arteta to rotate between competitions – it’s a n🌳o-brainer.
