Arsenal could make late sale of ‘incredible’ player with two clubs interested in signing him

Arsenal may not be the busiest side in the final days of the transfer window but there are several sales they could still get over the line.

Arsenal confirmed the signing of Mikel Merino🐼 on Tuesday, with the Spaniard becoming their third arrival of the summer.

He joins David Raya and Riccardo Calafiori as new signings at The Emirates, and 🍸Arsenal have now set their sights on signing a new forward.

🍰But with two days remaining until the transfer window closes, the North London outfit are also looking to complete a couple of sales.

🦄Eddie Nketiah is set to join Crystal Palace in a £30m deal, while Emile Smith Rowe has already joined Fulham for £34m.

Fabio Vieira could also leave on loan to Porto, and the future of Aaron Ramsdale is still in doubt.

Two clubs interested in Aaron Ramsdale

♔The £27m arrival of Raya this summer has pushed Ramsdale down the pecking order, and after the Spaniard’s world-class save against Aston Villa on the weekend his chances of regaining his spot between the sticks looks slim.

Wolves have pulled out of a deal for Ramsdale💦, but there is still interest in the 26-year-old from the Premier League as well as from Europe.

According to , Ramsdale could still seal a late move away from Arsenal🐟 as Southampton could revive their interest in a deal.

🃏The report adds that Dutch giants Ajax have emerged as contenders but they are yet to lodge a bid.

Aaron Ramsdale needs a new club

Mikel Arteta’s decision to drop Ramsdale for Raya has been justified, but the England international is still an “incredible” shot-stopper.

𒀰If there are no first-team opportunities at Arsenal, then he desperately needs to find a new club willing to make him their first choice.

ꦺStaying at The Emirates for another year would be damaging to his career, so whether it’s an offer from Southampton or Ajax – Ramsdale should be packing his bags.
