Arsenal coach hails ‘brilliant’ forward who’s come in at the club 11 days in a row without a day off
Arsenal are making a real name for themselves as a well-run club at every level, from the first-team to the youth ranks.
Arsenal’s senior squad has been flying high this season, and the Under-21s have now also taken a step closer to glory.
On Friday night, Arsenal’s U21s reached the Premier League 2 play-off quarter finals after running out 2-1 winners over Newcastle United’s U21s.
Arsenal U21 coach Mehmet Ali has now praised one of the club’s players who has been involved with both the senior team and the U21s over the past fortnight or so.
Ali revealed how said player has now come in at the club 11 days in a row and praised his hard work at both senior and youth level.

The player in question is Nathan Butler-Oyedeji, who opened the scoring from the penalty spot for Arsenal’s U21s in their win over Newcastle.
The 22-year-old also made his Premier League debut for Arteta’s side last week, coming on in the 4-0 win over Ipswich Town.
When asked by the Arsenal about Butler-Oyedeji’s Premier League debut, Ali said: “It’s been brilliant from Nathan.
“I think he’s done 11 days in a row, been in the club, without a day off, supporting the first team, being around us so yeah, credit to him and all of the boys have been excellent.
“For him to get on the pitch in a Premier League game is testament to the hard work that he does every single day, so yeah, really proud and really pleased for him.”

Butler-Oyedeji is a 22-year-old winger who, as Ali said, has been splitting his time between Arsenal’s Under-21s and the senior team.
He joined the Hale End setup in 2011, signed scholarship terms at Arsenal in 2019, and penned his first professional contract in 2021.
Butler-Oyedeji spent time on loan at Accrington Stanley in the first half of 2023 before taking in a loan stint at Cheltenham Town last season.
He has been in outstanding form at youth level this season, registering 11 goals and six assists from 17 U21 outings this term.
Butler-Oyedeji is now in and around the Arsenal first team, having made his senior debut in the Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb in January.
Ethan Nwaneri recently said Butler-Oyedeji is a “top player”, someone he was delighted to still be sharing a pitch with.
Nwaneri said: “Nathan’s a top, top player. He’s so sharp, his finishing is so good, so he deserves it. I’m so happy to see him out there on the pitch.
“It’s someone I’ve played with for the last few years in the academy, so it was so good to see him out there.”
